Pokhara-Sarangkot hike - View of the Himalayas This is one of the most popular day hikes that offers magnificent views of the Annapurna , Dhaulagiri and Manasalu Range particularly at sunrise and sunset. You can hike both ways or if you prefer you can go one way by car. The hike up takes about 3 hours and gives you a beautiful view of Phewa lake and Pokhara valley.
We start our hike after breakfast through the forest and pass the village of Meklang. On the way, we will see beautiful views of the Pokhara valley, Phewa Lake and the Annapurna range. After 5 hours of gradual climbing we will reach Sarankot. We will walk up to the view point. After lunch we will slowly walk towards Naudanda. On our way we will pass by Kaskikot, where we will see traditional houses and terrace farming. (Drive back to Pokhara by car)

Sarankot offers spectacular views of the Annapurna Range. You ascend through rice fields, past village houses and slowly wind through the forest to the high ridge for incredible views of the Himals and Pokhara Valley. There are beautiful little spots to rest at along the way.
